CorTech Investing in Professional Baseball Team
Atlanta Tomahawks Coming Soon

12/1/2013

Today CorTech LLC's Owner announced the purchase of an IBL Independent League Baseball franchise to own a Professional Baseball Team in Atlanta GA. The purchase will reserve the rights to have the only Independent League Baseball (IBL) team within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA. The IBL is a startup independent baseball league and is being started by Eric Spitaleri who started the CIFL (Continental Indoor Football League). The IBL is a new league and the goal is to have 4-8 teams in the south by the spring of 2015. We are excited about this venture and looking forward to getting a new Independent minor league baseball team in Atlanta, GA.

The team that will run under its own LLC (Atlanta TomaHawks Baseball, LLC) and will be named the Atlanta TomaHawks. As stated above are hopeful to start playing ball in the spring of 2015. CorTech's goal for the team is create a unique experience for local fans to watch an affordable ball game in the city of Atlanta. We are also hopeful we can get aspiring local/Southeast ball players to play and the goal is to potentially give them a stepping stone to possibly some day play ball in the big leagues.

With the above said, the new Atlanta TomaHawks Baseball LLC will be a "for profit" organization with an internal goal to donate 50% of the profits to local causes of our choice. We will look to partner with our local companies in order to maximize the dollars we can together send to select causes. The other 50% of any profits we will re-invest in the team/business so that it can grow and potentially invest more dollars in select causes.
