What are the largest US staffing firms? Staffing Industry Analysts’ annual listing of the largest US staffing firms identified 157 companies that generated at least $100 million in US staffing revenue in 2019, and they make up 60.9% of the US staffing market.

SIA’s report, “Largest Staffing Firms in the United States: 2019 Update,” was released this week.

“The 157 companies in this year’s report generated a combined revenue of $90.2 billion and had an estimated 60.9% of market share,” said Barry Asin, president of SIA. By 2018 revenue, the five largest firms are: 1.Allegis Group, $10.23 billion, 6.9% market share 2.Randstad Holding, $4.79 billion, 3.2% market share 3.The Adecco Group, $4.59 billion, 3.1% market share 4.Robert Half International Inc., $3.68 billion, 2.5% market share 5.Kelly Services Inc., $3.53 billion, 2.4% market share …73. CorTech LLC $253 Million

“As the US economy enters into a record 11th year of expansion, our report highlights the breadth and depth of staffing companies currently operating in the US marketplace,” said Timothy Landhuis, director of research North America at SIA and author of the report. “Capitalizing on the need for staffing services across all sectors of the economy, we continue to see a multitude of industrial and professional staffing firms sustain impressive revenue levels and achieve further growth.”

In addition, 17 firms are included in this year’s report that did not appear in last year’s list of largest US staffing firms. Those companies are: 22nd Century Technologies, CareerStaff Unlimited (Genesis HealthCare), CoreMedical Group, CSI (Consulting Solutions International), Full Steam Staffing, Green Key Resources, Hayes Locums, LaborMAX Staffing, Lancesoft, Lyneer Staffing Solutions, MedPro Healthcare Staffing, MWIDM, Staffing Alternatives, Surge Staffing, TalentLaunch, Tradesmen International and Vdart

Industrial and IT represented the largest segments by revenue for 52 and 47 companies, respectively.

The report only considers revenue generated from the provision of temporary workers to business clients, place & search services (direct hire/permanent placement and retained search) and revenue from temp-to-hire conversions.
